Our Alaska king salmon fillets are harvested every summer by our local Cook Inlet Alaska fishing fleet. We purchase the king salmon directly from the fishermen the day it is harvested and process and freeze it immediately to ensure the intrinsic qualities of every salmon is preserved. Our unique butterfly style fillets are simple to prepare and look lovely on the plate.
Also known as Chinook, king salmon are prized for their color, high oil content, firm texture and succulent flesh. Alaska king salmon are an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids, high quality protein, selenium and phosphorous, and a good source of potassium.
Alaska king salmon’s high oil content makes it a prime candidate for any cooking method. Our recommendation is to keep it simple with olive oil, sea salt, fresh ground pepper and let the natural flavors shine.
